A professional software engineer with over 30+ years in the industry, I have worked for a number of start-up companies and now am employed as a Senior Architect for a leading cyber-security company. I have always had a very keen interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as a love of maths and hacking code.

Before moving into a career as a software engineer I was a lecturer at various colleges in the North West of England teaching maths, physics and electronics.

I also enjoy endurance sports such as swimming, cycling and running and have taken part in a number of long course triathlons over the years. I get many of my ideas and thoughts when I am out training on the hills.
